Am I being redundant?

Fate is not stronger than any man’s mind because free will IS fate; they are equal in power. In reality, fate is the outcome of an event related to one’s personality, nature, and perspective. A persona is a fixed characteristic in the human psyche. One may firmly believe he has free will to change his fate, but he is mistaken; every action requires the innate qualities about him. Ultimately, persona is defined as one’s fate because it is a controlling factor in his “free” will.
Am I being redundant?
I don't think so.
Am I being redundant?
no
you may be reading into it a bit much .......

Some of them I found on Google, but it doesn't actually have a definite reference.

What's the biggest political issue of the last decade?

I would honestly like peoples opinions. In my opinion, the big one's on everybody's minds are the war in Iraq, terrorism, and the bad economy. (Please do not answer with hatred or name calling, because if there's one thing we can agree on is that both sides are entitled to their opinions and feel strongly about such. I'd like to keep this as intelligent as possible.)

1) As far as American death counts go though, the war in Iraq far surpasses the death count of 9/11. (2978 for 9/11 to 4168 for the war.) What bothered me the most was how obvious it was to both sides that Dick Cheney's very own company, Halliburton, now runs the oil fields in Iraq. In the past, such deception was usually brushed under the rug, but now it appears part of American culture to invade other countries for finnancial gain. They even call it %26quot;Investor's Iraq.%26quot;

2) The war may have far more deaths, but no other event has had such an impact in the minds of American people than the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Osama bin Laden, put into power by the Reagan administration in 1985 to fight the Soviet empire in Afghanistan, brutally masterminded an attack on the Twin Towers and murdered almost 3000 Americans. Another plane also flew into the empty side of the Pentagon, (the pentagon employs 89000 people daily, only 184 were killed) and regardless of their motives (let's BOTH sides not discuss that,) 9/11 happened, and there's NO WAY TO CHANGE THE PAST. The event, did, however, forever alter the way the American people feel about their safety.

3) I am extremely liberal, but even I do NOT believe that Bush is responsible for the state of the economy. American familys are now scraping paycheck to paycheck to make ends meet. Vacations and luxury goods are a thing of the past. This is an issue that affects both the right and left, and I'm sure almost everyone reading this has probably been affected too.

Your opinions? Any other issues? Please keep it civil and let both sides not resort to name calling.

What's the biggest political issue of the last decade?
Definitely the people of America. Would you call that the economy? I mean health insurance, education, housing, safety of food, availability of drugs, lack of legislation on so many things.

It's unbelievable.

I remember 15-20 years ago, we never had this inundation of products, especially pharmaceuticals, OTC...I'm surprised our own country allows this....people don't even know what this stuff is doing to them, and in the meantime our food (produce and meat) is pure garbage. We can't even FIND local anymore unless you go to a %26quot;mom and pop%26quot; shop...the big chains import stuff from countries which are killing us with this crap.

Lots of bad things going on in this world today.

Time to have government look after the people, dont you think? So you have some kids with smarts to run things in the future and not just a bunch of rednecks who think a gun and religion is all one needs to get by in this world.
What's the biggest political issue of the last decade?
Nope,,,,Bush, Iraq, the economy, national security, all take a back seat to abortion, especially for liberals.

The Iraq war has the lowest causality rate of any war in American history.

Bill Clinton used Haliburton during Bosnia and Kosovo.

Jimmy Carter started Al Queida when he allowed the Shaw of Iran to get deposed, and then the Iatola Khomeini took over and built up the Taliban and Al-Queida .
Cheney doesn't own Halliburton, and most of Congress has stock in the company. The reason they were awarded the contract was their ability to do the job, since at the time I believe their were only two companies worldwide that could do it. The biggest issue is just what ever is current. If you had asked this 10 years ago it would be Clinton's behavior, etc. And it is based on your personal viewpoint. As a liberal your views are completely different than mine. 9/11 will remain in our minds until we die, but for someone born 10 years ago it won't have anymore meaning than Pearl Harbor.
The attack on Iraq (how it was done, from fraud within, to media blackout, to manipulation of elections and laws) and what really happened with 9/11 (who did it and why), and how the two are connected.
Obama is the biggest issue of the last dacade.

But there may be no money when he gets to the White House to change anything.

George Bush really hurt America. 11 trillion dollar national debt is a game changer.

Wether the sins and atrocities will vanish from this world that day....?

Whatever is there in this creation is truth. Nothing else, but from 鈥榠t鈥?only the creation is created.

Means 鈥?TRUTH is the name of that prime element 鈥?鈥楶rime soul鈥? from which this creation was created, and got functional as well.

In other words 鈥?From which this vast (creation) get light, and the medium from which all worlds got created, got stability and got the direction; that is the 鈥楢lmighty鈥?

Whatever is there in this creation is the representation of that 鈥楢lmighty鈥?only. It is spread in all the 鈥榠nert鈥?and 鈥榗onscious鈥?in an equal way. Whatever is visible or invisible, is only the visible and invisible form of it.

Sincerity and religious is- one, they are not separate. This is not our hand, but is the hand of the 鈥楶rime Soul鈥? What ever is done in the whole world, is done only by the hands of that prime soul. We should understand that 鈥?whatever we are doing for ourselves is done by that 鈥楶rime Soul鈥?for us. Whatever we don or don鈥檛 do, is done or not done by the prime soul.

Now you will ask 鈥?Whether the sins and all the atrocities carried out in this world are done by the 鈥楪od鈥?? The answer is 鈥?whatever we do for our necessities is done only by 鈥榟im鈥? But, whatever we do for our happiness for satisfying our desired and, for fulfilling our satiety, somebody else takes the pain for it. Where as, we derive pleasure out of it. When those sins, atrocities or misdeeds of somebody gives joys to him, somebody else gets the pain for it. If you think of other鈥檚 happiness, you have to take the pain and have to kill the desires.

A person starving of something for a long period may get defeated against his morals to carryout some misdeeds. That is why the saints have urged to practice restraint. Since we don鈥檛 care for others happiness they try to snatch things of their use from us. They trouble us. With one鈥檚 sacrifice, another gets the 鈥榟appiness鈥? Whatever is there in this world is one. All are created only from the 鈥榮ame one鈥? Everybody鈥檚 welfare is the welfare of us. Same case with the happiness and the joy also. For one鈥檚 happiness, another has to carry out the act of surrender.

To keep half of the people happy, another half has to take some pain. Like this, if we cooperate with each other, may sacrifices for each other then all will have their part of happiness. The weak persons always depend on others. Their moral responsibility is to give up laziness in order to do hard labor for bringing changes to their conditions. They should not connive their laziness to be a helplessness.

Here, the topic is not on sin or virtue, religious 鈥?atheism, arms or compassion. The topic is 鈥?how to take care of others happiness. As long as we are selfish, we can鈥檛 feel the agony or the joy of others; and atrocities will thrive on in this world that long. Every person, for his own requirements will tell lies, will sin, will trouble others, create violence on others and will torture. If everybody thinks of fulfilling requirements of others also, these heinous activities will definitely come to an end.

Whatever the 鈥榩rime soul鈥?does, he does it through us. He does it keeping our happiness in his mind. In result, half of us get the happiness and the other half takes the pain. After taking food we feel good, but the stomach has to take the pain of digesting it. We enjoy trekking; but the legs take up the task of that by taking some pain. If different parts of the body stop performing their part of job, the whole body is affected. In that, the life is put in a danger, and other parts of the body starts defecting. Thus, sacrifices for each other is a must.

Like this, in this total creation, every body is dependent on each other, for their own requirements. Joy and grief are like day and night. If happiness is required, then one also has to share little miseries with others. Happiness for all should be kept in the mind.

Eradication of sins and atrocities from this world is not in the capacity of a single person. The day we start caring for others happiness, the sins and atrocities will vanish from this world that day. And we will be in great happiness, and can give others the same.
Wether the sins and atrocities will vanish from this world that day....?
this is not a question what kind of psycho babble is this. I will destroy you and this world/god of yours. Serpents tounge rulzzzzzzzzzz
Wether the sins and atrocities will vanish from this world that day....?
You did not ask a question. Thus, I will answer %26quot;4.%26quot;
Dude, there's no question here.
Oh look, honey. More preachinhg.

  • Hello. I just wrote a poem. Hope you like it!?

    A Sacrifice

    His eyes were once blue

Like the color of the sea

    He made a gleam

    A twinkle in one’s heart

    But as time went by

    He changed you see

He was no longer a friend

    But an enemy

The hatred that filled within his eyes

    Reddish flame and dark blue

    Combined together he became

Someone that was a whole new person

    Tears run down my cheek

For that sadness that made our friendship weak

Praying and trying to make things better

    But nothing worked

    Then one day

    On all hollows eve

    The Satin came

    To take my enemy

The Devil sucked his soul right out

And I just could not bear to see

I told the evil spirit to take me instead

It was just impossible to sacrifice my ally

Not after what we have all been through

    The times we shared

And the times we have spent

In my heart I did not want him or I to go

But my mind told me to just depart

    I called to him

My friend who I held so dear

    “Please forgive me!”

I hope this path I take will clear

The problems we have made through these years

    And the memories we embellished

Will be saved in his head

As I walk the path to the living and to the dead
Hello. I just wrote a poem. Hope you like it!?
i love it so much you have talent
Hello. I just wrote a poem. Hope you like it!?
    Deep and descriptive.
You know, that's not too bad..it would make a good song.

    I LOVE IT! good job!!!
good stuff. I feel your pain, but be grateful you were able to share the good times. anything negative can turn into a positive with gratitude.
thats very good u should submit it to poetry.com they copyright it and send u some important info through the mail pls try it u will be glad u did they publish it also
    Love is not sacrifice!

Death is easy for anyone, but living with pain(lost love) is hard.

Your poem shows that you are lost with emotions...get some fresh air!

    Take care

    -:)
    Right nice sweetie.
    wow, good
sad and powerful, but not depressing. great poem.
You've got good points and a good story but poor structure.

Your verse is fine, but you need to choose: will I rhyme or not?

    For example:

    But as time went by

    He changed you see

He was no longer a friend

    But an enemy

Those are both forced and sound juvenile, like they were thrown together for the sake of the rhyme. Put words together for the words.

Or you can go the other path and rhyme everything. In that case, though, you probably want a sturcture of syllables.

I say make it free verse, no rhyme. I like you're couplets and your ending, that's strong. Change %26quot;The problems we have made through the years%26quot;, though- that's out of place.

    Good work!
you are very talented. deep and dark. i liked it tho.

My first college essay. what do you guys think. edit it would be great. thanks?

Heres the wssay question that im answering

How does the enlightenment as represented by kant. reflect the influence on bacon? thanks

    Kant’s influence on Bacon

The Enlightenment represented by Kant, influenced Bacon, in many ways from the way his thoughts were put out, to the way he speaks up against other philosophers. He was trying to get people to think on there own, and use there minds, as well as not listening to what every one is saying. Both Kant and Bacon had there own thoughts and ideas, but what they were trying to say had a lot in common. The system back then was not like it was today, there was freedom of speech, but not to a full extent that there is today. Kant Had great deals of influence on Bacon, many people believe most of his work was influenced By Kant.

The way Kant influence Bacon, was the way Bacon had no remorse on speaking against other philosopher’s telling people that they don’t halve to listen to Aristotle, they can listen to anyone they want, and go there own way, but what Bacon said was I can guide you through this if you listen to me. Bacon said “but even though Aristotle were the man he is thought to be I shall warn you against receiving as oracles the thoughts and opinions of one man” (pg 40). Immanuel Kant was one of the first people out there to try to get the commoners to not be intimidated by leaders, saying you can do well in society as well, by that Kant said most of the working class people were

Immature and lazy, but that was a large part of man kind. He said “immaturity is the incapacity to use one’s intelligence without the guidance of others” (pg 52). In my opinion by that quote Kant was saying you aren’t born with what you have, you can change it if you work hard at trying to become what you want to be. Those two quotes are very similar. They are both going for the commoners, trying to get them to be them selves, think on there own and go there own way.

In The New Organon Francis Bacon used excerpts in a phenomenal way, which Kant stating as well, Bacon said “There are and can be only two ways of searching into and discovering the truth”(pg 40). Kant demonstrated a very similar idea saying “Have the courage to use your own intelligence! Is therefore the motto of the Enlightenment” (pg 52). In my opinion those two quotes are very similar, as they are trying to enlightened the people in the same sense. What Bacon was trying to say is you don’t always halve to do the right thing; you can change the idea of what people are thinking by searching into the other way and discovering the truth. I think what Kant was trying to saying is be brave and go with your gut, if you feel it is right. The way these quotes are similar, is the way Kant influenced Bacon was to use your own intelligence and really look in and discover the truth.

So in conclusion, The Enlightenment represented by Kant, influenced Bacon in many ways from the way his thought are put out, to the way he speaks up against other

Philosophers, trying to get people to think and use there own minds, not listening to what every one is saying. The Enlightenment represented by Kant was a new type of writing, and way of thinking, he put his work out to other people to read, and think about what he was saying, and try to change the way there minds were thinking. Kant and bacon changed the way people thought back in the 16th and 18th century, and people today are still appreciating the writing that these stellar philosophers thought

Unless your prof is miraculously on Yahoo, nobody's feedback is going to help you. Go to your college's writing center; they pay people to help students like you. Then you'll at least get good feedback rather than be at the mercy of random yahoos.

    ANNE FRANK RTL ESSAY #8

Through hardships in our life we tend to grow out of our childish ways and become more aware of the world around us. Chains of circumstances shape our persona do to certain assets in which one will change, develop, and finally mature into a grander person. When we endure these horrific events we go through a transformation of not only the mind but the soul and we derive a better understanding of how life really is outside the illusion of perfection we make it out to be. This is proved true in “The Diary of Anne Frank” written by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett. It is based on a story like no other in which a young girl confides in her diary about her inner most thoughts, wishes, and feelings. She describes what it is like to be forced to go into hiding for fear of her life, and have to live for two years in constant apprehensiveness that they might be found and charged for a crime punishable by death. It was through these circumstances beyond one’s control that Anne went through a great change on the outlook of life and became enlightened in the cruelties of the world.

Anne Frank lived a carefree life up until the holocaust. Even when her family and her along with four other people were forced to go into hiding she did not quite understand the extremities that she was soon to face, “but you can’t do that they’ll arrest you if you go out without your star.” This alone is an example of how na?ve Anne still was at the time after having been obligated to leave all that she held close to her heart. At the beginning she took it as if it were merely a “vacation”, and did not completely comprehend the seriousness of the war. She once told her mother “I only want some fun, someone to laugh and dance with”. Once again she has demonstrated that she is in a way blind to the enormity of the issue they where currently facing. After all that she had been obligated to abandon everything, she took it lightly to the heart.

She acquired some better understanding through time in which she began to have a greater insight not only about herself but of the world and people around her. Anne confesses to Peter, “I’d like to go back to it for a few days or a week. But after that I know I’d be bored to death. I think more seriously know.” Through this we can tell that Anne has indeed has gathered a larger realization of the magnitude of the issue at hand. Her thoughts on life have definitely matured since the beginning of the conflict. Anne still doesn’t loose faith even after all that she has been forced to go through, “I’m going to be a famous dancer or singer…or something wonderful”. Even though they have been put in a tragic situation, she has not lost all hope and becomes still a bigger person for it. She will not let the catastrophic times they are going through crush her dreams and wishes of the future she hopes to have. Anne derives an enhanced comprehension due to the hard times her, along with everyone else, have had to put through in order to survive.

Anne herself, matured very rapidly in these two crucial years where she went from thirteen to fifteen. She once said “But Peter, if you’d only look at it as a part of a great pattern…that were just a little minute in the life…” Through this we can presume she has acquired a greater understanding of the universe and all who live in it. She knows that the time that she has on the earth is only a spec of dust compared to the immensity of life itself. Anne understands that her life is not of greater importance than somebody else’s, and knows that she will only get one chance at the life she currently has. Therefore she knows to make the most of what she has. She stated once “I’m going to be remarkable! I’m going to Paris!” This again demonstrates her optimism and how she has grown as a person not only from the outside but also within. Through the good and the bad Anne has matured somewhat since the beginning of this experience.

Through the two treacherous years Anne Frank was forced to live along with seven other people during the holocaust, she matured with wisdom far beyond any other girl her age would have. Her insight on the holocaust and what innocent people were forced to suffer through is one of the most moving commentaries on the war and its impact on human beings ever read. She once wrote “In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart.” These words of wisdom are an example of how much hope she still had. She had faith in people, and did not judge everyone the same due to the actions of one man. Through the menacing times she had been forced to face she discovered a greater truth about life.
Im stressing!!! help with english paper please! (anne frank)?
Wow, a pretty tall order to critique even a five paragraph essay in this forum, but here goes: Overall the language is strong, you have some very good ideas, and the essay has strong, linear movement from opening to conclusion. That's good. You do have a few (well, maybe a few more than a few) grammatical errors, (some run-on sentences and a couple of spots where a semicolon rather than a comma is needed), and a couple of spelling errors, but these are fairly easy to correct. Overall I would consider it a good first draft, but it needs some tightening and polishing. I would make the introduction a little less general to start. I don't think the third person %26quot;we%26quot; serves you very well in the opening. Most of %26quot;us%26quot; do not undergo anything close to the %26quot;horrific events%26quot; that Anne Frank endured. If you want to keep it this way, you might want to tone down the rhetoric a bit in reference to the universal %26quot;we%26quot;. In other words, say something to illustrate your point that hardship in general often seems to have a maturing effect on developing adolescents, and that nowhere is this illustrated more poignantly than in the story of Anne Frank.

Personally, I think that Anne Frank' s growth and maturation throughout her ordeal is anything but typical; that it is in fact quite extraordinary given the circumstances. But that would be a different thesis entirely . . . That she was able to achieve such growth and spiritual development in spite of her circumstances, rather than due to them. I'm not arguing in favor of one thesis over the other, though. Your thesis is entirely valid, and definitely workable. Good luck with your paper, and keep up the good work.
Im stressing!!! help with english paper please! (anne frank)?
This is a good and thought out essay and it is well written so well done. The only thing I would question is the fact that you said Anne lived a carefree life. This I am not sure is the right phrasing you should use. If you have a look at Anne's entry on 20 June 1942 she describes what was happening to the Jewish people because of Hitler. I think carefree suggests that she was completely naive of what was happening to the Jewish community which she was not. Just have a think about that. Its a pity I am not your English or History teacher, I would give you a good mark!
dont stress so much it shortens ur lifethis is a good paper just run through on spelling and grammar some teachers are really anal about that
i think this is an awesome paper!! very thought provoking and easy to relate to!! nice work!! :)
Honestly, I think you did a good job. Nothing seems to be incorrect. Just remember to check for spelling, grammar, and if your paper makes sense! That will help you not stress as much!

    I hope I helped!
